Dr. Rodney Adams was licensed to preach in December 1991, and has been preaching and teaching the Word of God for over 30 years and has served as Senior Pastor of the Big Calvary Baptist Church for over 25 years. Dr. Adams has held numerous leadership positions throughout his tenure, serving in various roles and capacities including as Moderator of the Sandy River Baptist Association in Chester, South Carolina, as well as a professor with the Carolina College of Theology, Spartanburg, South Carolina. Under his ministry, numerous ministries have been birthed, men and women placed in pastoral and other leadership roles throughout the community, and many souls brought to Christ. Dr. Adams completed his undergraduate with a concentration in Public Administration and Pastoral Studies and holds both a Master’s and Doctoral degree in Theology. He currently serves on numerous boards and committees both nationally and locally and is a much sought-after conferenec speaker, through leader and advisor in human services.

Dr. Adams has an intriguing desire to see the salvation of the lost, the edification of the Body, and the advancement of God’s Kingdom here on earth.

He is married to his wife of 37+ years, Minister Linda Adaams, and they have two sons, one daughter, and three grandchildren.
